A Traditional Festival in My Country

A Traditional Festival in My Country
The Spring Festival is the most important traditional festival in China. It celebrates the lunar new year and family reunion. Before the festival, we clean our houses and decorate them with red lanterns. On New Year’s Eve, the whole family gathers for a big dinner—fish and dumplings are must-haves. Children get red envelopes with money inside. During the festival, we visit relatives and friends, saying “Happy New Year.” My favorite part is watching the dragon dance on the street—the colorful dragon moves to loud drums. It’s a time full of joy and warmth.
